The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Soldiers Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season are included.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of adventurers who will split off from the central cast to undertake their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Considering a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem out of place, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing initiated the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his personal gain, entering the secret base, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his debts and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in the powerful family could assist the group access areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that control the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This results in them few options but to head to the remote area in search of Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Explorers and Planners tables.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the season’s concluding setup installment, streaming live on October 24.
